The NAR recently surveyed Non-Owners to see what their attitudes towards buying are. See the infographics! Helping a first-time homebuyer is always a thrill. Getting to that point is usually the culmination of a buyer's planning, sacrifice, and strong desire for a home and financial security.
Helping a buyer to "buy up" to their next home is also fun. It is well known and supported by statistics that communities with higher rates of homeownership experience greater stability, pride, community interest, and better schools. Furthermore, there are indications that even children whose families rent in communities with a higher rate of homeownership perform better in those schools.
